On behalf of the Australian National Crescent Sighting Coordination Centre (ANCSCC), this 2-day seminar will:
- Provide all evidences about why physical sighting of the crescent is required in Islam.
- Provide all evidences why pre-determined calendars and global sighting does not fulfill Islamic requirements.
- Provide evidences of the incorrect announcements made regularly in Australia for Ramadhan and the two ‘Eids.
- Provide practical guidance on how to observe the crescent on a regular basis with accurate information.
- Discuss ways to change the repeated errors made in Australia and return to proper due process of establishing the Islamic Lunar Calendar.
- Provide ample time for questions and answers.
