Program Outline

Is interfaith dialogue a conspiracy to dilute and change Islam?
Is there any basis in Islam for inter-religious engagement and relations?
Are there empirical evidences that interfaith relations benefit society?
These questions and many others have recently been raised in some Muslims as well as other Faith community circles. There is a concerted effort in some circles to condemn interfaith workers as heretical, claiming Islam has no basis for interfaith dialogue, engagement or relations.
This FREE 8-week Study Circle aims to provide referenced evidences for the basis of interfaith dialogue and engagement in Islam- the Religion of the Promotion of Peace. The program will provide:

  • All notes and information about interfaith in Islam and the rules of engagement
  • Case studies of successful establishment of goodwill, harmony and understanding through interfaith work in
  • Australia
  • An Interfaith Dialogue Kit for ideas on how you can foster good relations as well as a true understanding of Islam
  • A documentary movie evening and forum to view "The Imam & The Pastor"
  • A FREE copy of the Muslim initiative "A Common Word" between Christians and Muslims
  • Light refreshments during and after each class
The Study Circle is open to everyone, regardless of one's Faith. Sufficient time will be available to discuss and ask questions relating to interfaith in general as well as on any topic about Islam.
