Course outline:
In this 3-week course, you will learn about the historical development of Islamic Jurisprudence, as well as how the Rulings of the Shari’ah as we know it were extracted from the Primary Sources. It will provide you with a clear understanding of the importance of the Schools of Jurisprudence (Madhab) and their systematic analysis of evidences that form the Rulings. This course is a deep explanation within a short time, and is a must for every Muslim. It will also be most beneficial for people of other Faiths to understand what Islamic Law is all about. By understanding the contents of this course, you will find clarity rather than confusion about Islamic Law.

NOTE: This course is the 1st module of Certificate 1 of the Foundations Diploma in Islamic Sciences Program which is being open to the public to give those who wish to attend only particular modules of the diploma the opportunity to register and attend those particular classes. You do not have to be part of the Diploma program to undertake this course.
