An opportunity for those who have missed out on enrolling into Certificates 1 and 2 of the Foundations Diploma in Islamic Sciences. Certificate 3 enrolment is now open and will allow students to complete the four modules of the certificate. Students who finish Certificate 3 will be able to enrol for Certificates 1 and 2 when they are offered next.
The four modules of Certificate 3 are:
Module 1: Marriage & Divorce (8 weeks)
The rights & responsibilities in marriage, the marriage contract, rules of divorce and rights of responsibilities of the ex-husband and ex-wife.
Module 2: Funerals (6 weeks)
Covering the Hanafi and Shafi'i Fiqh of death and funerals, including practical training on washing and shrouding.
Module 3: Wills (4 weeks)
Rules of inheritance and wills.
Module 4: Introduction to Tassawuf & Akhlaq (4 weeks)
Tasawwuf is a forgotten Science which always went hand in hand with the Sciences of Fiqh in traditional times. This module looks at essentials of Tasawwuf in the Path of Purification of one's soul.
