A free program focusing on reflecting and understanding the verses of the Qur’an through the Science of Tafsir based on the great commentaries of the Holy Qur’an. This continuing, monthly course is an excellent program to reconnect to the Divine Revelation- the Holy Qur’an. The program is suitable for all seekers of Sacred Knowledge, new Muslims as well as people of other Faiths seeking to properly understand Islam and its Message.

Commencing with The Opening (Al-Fatiha), based on ibn ‘Ajiba’s Treatise, Tafsir al-Fatiha al-Kabir, the program will draw primarily from his corpus work, Al-Bahr al-Madid (The Immense Ocean) for the remainder of the Chapters of the Qur’an. Al-Bahr al-Madid is the only traditional Qur’anic commentary in existence which gives both outward meanings as well as the spiritual significance for each verse of the Sacred Book.

The program is followed by a light meal and everyone is encouraged to bring a plate of food to share with others.

This program will be live webcasted to Melbourne and Newcastle. To get more information please see the Enquiries above.
